Being friends with Ellen DeGeneres is cool but working for her apparently makes dreams come true.

The TV show host previously introduced Nick The Gardener on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' as well, her supposed gardener. He would appear on the show without clothes, showing off a perfect set of abs.

Noting his toned body, DeGeneres figured that she could secure him an audition for Channing Tatum's new movie, 'Magic Mike XXL.'

Degeneres called up Warner Brothers President Greg Silverman to personally ask if her gardener can audition for the 'Magic Mike' sequel after news of Matthew McConaughey not returning for the upcoming sequel broke. Nick was promptly sent running for an audition during the show's break.

It looks like constantly taking his shirt off for the show paid off. Tatum himself called in the middle of one episode (while Nick was picking apples) and gave him the good news.

"After careful inspection of your ab region, we have deducted that we need you in 'Magic Mike XXL,'" the '22 Jump Street' star told him.

The adorable 24-year-old was too speechless to talk to Tatum after that. Watch the clip here.

Nick The Gardener is actually Billy Reilich and he doesn't actuall tend to plants. In fact, his past job doesn't have anything to do with a garden. He was former basketball coach and he originally wanted to be Ellen DeGeneres' pool boy.

Reilich first appeared on the show as a part of the comedy singing group he created with his high school friends, Cream Pies.

The group got a spot on the Ellen Degeneres Show after their hilarious music video caught the host's attention. Reilich's abs, however, interested the audience the most. He's been taking his shirt off for Ellen DeGeneres' viewers ever since.

What role do you think Billy Reilich better known as Nick The Gardener will have on 'Magic Mike XXL?' Do you think his chocolate abs is hot enough to appear beside Channing Tatum's?
