Kat Dennings and Josh Groban is perhaps one of the most unexpected celebrity couples. Us Weekly has just confirmed that the "You Raise Me Up" singer is, indeed, dating the comedic actress of "2 Broke Girls."
The couple made their relationship official on October 11th, at the Carousel of Hope Ball, when the former "Rising Star" host gushed about it to Entertainment Tonight.
"I do have such a lovely date tonight," he told ET. "I'm very lucky my girlfriend has joined me tonight. It's her first time hearing me sing. So, I'm going to do some extra warm-ups so I don't suck."
He then added, "I mean, we joke-sing all the time. We harmonize on the radio. But, no, I haven't really done any real singing. It always seems like a cheesy move on my part, like, 'Hey, you wanna hear me sing?'" Groban sang three songs that night.
Still, regardless of whether or not she cares about listening to her new boyfriend sing, it seems that they both enjoy each other's company.
Both Kat Dennings and Josh Groban acknowledged their relationship on their official Instagram accounts. They even shared pictures of themselves while they were on the red carpet. Dennings wrote, "I ship it," while Groban wrote, "I ship it, too."
An insider told Us Weekly that their relationship is actually very new. "Kat and Josh recently started dating and are having a lot of fun."
A source who was also at the event said, "They were so cute together! They were adorable on the carpet. She was whispering in his ear a lot and they seemed really happy."
Prior to the dating the esteemed singer, Kat Dennings was dating "2 Broke Girls" guest star, Nick Zano. Josh Groban, on the other hand, dated January Jones of "Mad Men" and had a short fling with Katy Perry.
