"The Good Wife" season 6, episode 5 spoilers will reveal a familiar adversary for Alicia in the form of Carrie Preston's Elsbeth Tascioni. Meanwhile, the Florrick, Agos & Lockhart is under attack by a hacker who could very well expose its secrets.

In the last episode, Alicia already decided that she's going to run for state attorney in order to clear the system of corruption as well as advance citizens' rights. But the next episode titled "Shiny Objects" might veer away from the campaign a little bit as it focuses on a sex related case.

"The Good Wife" season 6, episode 5 spoilers can be gleaned from the synopsis, which reads: "Alicia and Dean (Taye Diggs) face familiar foes in Elsbeth Tascioni and Rayna Hecht (Jill Hennessy) when they represent a fired female CEO in a sex discrimination suit. Meanwhile, the Florrick/Agos/Lockhart firm are in panic mode when a hacker seizes control of their files and threatens to delete them if a ransom demand isn't met."

Of course, it doesn't mean that Alicia can forget about the campaign as she tries to convince Peter into supporting her candidacy. In the teaser clip, Peter is seen telling Alicia, "I'm the governor and you are asking me for a favor.

To which she responds, "I may need you Peter but you need me too."

Meanwhile, Michael Ausiello wrote The Good Wife Season 6 spoilers for TVLine as he reported that the show is currently looking for an actor, around 40 years old, who will play the role of a media campaign specialist.

The role, described as "one part Hollywood, two parts political" is potentially recurring and will appear in the ninth episode.

"The official logline for the Oct. 26 episode includes this intriguing tease: 'Diane sets her sights on moving Florrick Agos Lockhart into the Lockhart Gardner Canning office space, leading to a battle with her former partners David Lee and Louis Canning.'"
