Amy Poehler dished some details about her past experiences with cocaine and ecstasy in her new memoir, "Yes Please." The star of "Parks and Recreation" reflected on her previous struggle with drugs in a chapter entitled, "Obligatory Drug Stories."

"I tried cocaine, which I instantly loved, but eventually hated," said the 43-year-old "Saturday Night Live" star. "Cocaine is terrific if you want to hang out with people you don't know very well and play Ping-Pong all night. It's bad for almost everything else. The day after cocaine is rough."

She also mentioned a few things about one particular New Year's Eve party when she partied until the sun came up with her Upright Citizens Brigade comrades. Everyone "danced and drank water and loved each other," but the high did not last for long.

Amy Poehler then continued, "I also remembered the next day when I thought I had no friends and I was so sad I wanted to sink into the carpet and permanently live there."

Since she had two sons, Archie and Abel, with her former husband, Will Arnett, a lot has changed in her life. She said, "How do you explain to a four- and six-year-old that you can't play 'Rescue Bots' because you have to spend all day in bed eating Cape Cod potato chips and watching 'The Bicycle Thief'? I can't perform, drive or write stoned, and, therefore, I smoke pot a lot less than I used to."

The famous comedienne also opened up in her memoir about her split from Arnett after being married for 10 years. "Getting a divorce really sucks," she stated. "Imagine spreading everything you care about on a blanket and then tossing the whole thing up in the air. The process of divorce is about loading that blanket, throwing it up, watching it all spin, and worrying what stuff will break when it lands."
