Meg Ryan and John Mellencamp for 2014 seem to be back on!
The former couple were seen on the streets of New York last Wednesday, according to a report from People. Many have been speculating that a Meg Ryan and John Mellencamp for 2014 are imminent.
Spectators waited on the Meg Ryan and John Mellencamp for 2014 as the duo walked around New York's So Ho area. Ryan and Mellencamp also dropped by Scholastica Children's Books.
Mellencamp and Ryan seemed to never have forgotten about each other despite the split. The couple was together for three years before they parted ways two months prior, according to People.
People reported that Mellencamp has stated the following comments when had his interview with The Associated Press on Sept. 26:
"I'm very happy with the time I've spent with Meg Ryan. She's a beautiful girl and I know that I will never, ever, ever be with a funnier girl than her. Not gonna happen. I'm grateful for the three and a half years we've been together."
Mellencamp had this to say about the possible reunification of his relationship with Ryan:
"Nothing's over. I never say 'die' for anything. Do you ever quit on anything?"
People reported that in an interview with Matt Lauer in the "Today" show on Sept. 25, Mellencamp elaborated on his previous and possible future relationship with Ryan, saying:
"She's an angel sent to me, and I'm very happy. And, you know, nothing's over 'til it's over."
