There's a new celebrity cat in the making.
After the fame that Grumpy Cat, Lily Bub, Maru and Colonel Meow have received, Napoleon might be the next cat to grasp the hearts of Internet users everywhere.
It all started when his owner, Jesus Segura, an unemployed former cameraman, decided to fill his time posing the kitten in different setups using a green screen, tiny sets and Photoshop, according to Yahoo News.
The creativity has gone on to provide the world with awesome photos of the Persian cat in outer space or flying around in a basket in the sky. Despite his popularity, Segura has emphasized that Napoleon should not be seen as a prop.
"Napoleon is neither an object nor a toy, he is only a kitten. Therefore we have laid a number of rules. He never spends more than 15 minutes in front of the camera, because I think that's enough time for him, otherwise he gets bored and wants to escape from the set or starts to play and dismantle everything. I tried to turn each photographic session into a game for him," explained Segura, according to ABC News.
He added, "When the stage is set, I don't let Napoleon be on it until everything is ready for shooting. I do that because the first reactions of him, being in a place where he's never been before, are always funny and useful. We use sounds or little toys in order to get his eyes looking at the right place, but that's not as simple as it seems. And of course, I've always respected his eating and sleeping times, just like any star deserves."
Segura reportedly started an Indiegogo page to fund various productions featuring Napoleon the cat, including calendars and postcards.
People are catching on to Napoleon's cuteness rather quickly.
"That is freaking adorable," commented social media user NORA.
Fellow Internet user Esther added, "How completely adorable. Helps his owner is a talented photographer."
