Former "Glee" cast member Charice Pempengco is back in Oprah!
Charice Pempengco will be seen in the forthcoming Oprah special "Oprah: Where Are They Now". People reported that Charice will be sharing her experiences for coming out in the open about her sexuality in this TV special.
When Oprah Winfrey asked the singer about her insights about gender change, Charice said:
Basically, my soul is like male."
"But I'm not going to go through that stage where I change everything."
Charice Pempengco on Oprah featured the You Tube wonder share how she exactly feels about being her new self:
"I'll cut my hair and wear boy clothes and everything, but that's all."
Charice shared the way she felt about her gender as a little girl, as reported by People:
"I knew when I was 5."
"Then, when I was 10, I was like, 'Oh, that's it, I'm gay.' "
Inquirer.net reported that prior to the Charice Pempengco guest appearance in Oprah, the talk show queen tried to make the singer comfortable.
According to the article, before Charice faced the show's cameras, Oprah said:
"When I entered the studio, she (Winfrey) told me, 'Don't be [nervous]. This is your homecoming,'" she said.
Charice has previously appeared on Oprah four times. Inquirer.net reported that when Pempengco was baptized as a Catholic in 2010, Oprah Winfrey stood as her godmother.
