Actress Um Ji Won joined writer Kim Soo Hyun's division, as she confirms her appearance in drama 'Childless Comfort.'
On the 12th, according to Um Ji Won's agency, "Um Ji Won has confirmed 'Childless Comfort' as her comeback drama. The first filming will take place at the end of August. Um Ji Won will make a transformation into a judge for the drama, showing audiences an image of her that they've never seen."
JTBC's 'Childless Comfort' is a 30-episode family drama written by Kim Soo Hyun, premiering in October. With an elderly couple as the main focus, the drama tells the story of the couple's three sons and their families. The goal of the drama is to teach families how to communicate and reconcile through family issues.
In 'Childless Comfort, Um Ji Won will play the role of Ahn So Young, a character with a strong, distinct personality who receives the high expectations of her parents.
This will be the first time Um Ji Won is teaming up with writer Kim Soo Hyun, as she currently awaits the premiere of her film 'The Gangster Shaman.' Um Ji Won harmonized with actor Park Shin Yang for the film set to be released in September.
