"24: Live Another Day" cast Kiefer Sutherland looked sharp as he was snapped stepping out of his hotel in Tribeca, New York last Sunday, as the 47-year-old actor revealed the secret behind his mullet in the classic "The Lost Boys."
Photos published on MailOnline showed "24: Live Another Day" cast Kiefer Sutherland looking dapper in a tailored gray suit. He also wore a pair of Avaitor sunglasses to shield his eyes from the New York sun.
"24: Live Another Day" cast Kiefer Sutherland recently played tribute to Joel Schumacher, who directed "The Lost Boys" in 1987 and made him a household name at just 18 years old, during the Hamptons International Film Festival over the weekend.
The director was given the lifetime achievement award, said MailOnline.
The actor also revealed who thought up about the mullet in "The Lost Boys" which sprung up many inspirations among the youth during the 80s.
"We both conspired to invent the mullet," he said.
Previously, FOX executives Gary Newman and Dana Walden talked about the possibility of a "24: Live Another Day" renewal, according to the report from Flickering Myth.
They claimed that executives are talking about it and just waiting for "the best opportunity for it." Right now, studio execs are talking to their creative partners to gauge their enthusiasm for another installment.
They claimed that they were happy with the ratings last season. But ultimately, a renewal would be a "great reward" for the fans.
"It was a great financial endeavor for all of us - especially when you look at our businesses holistically," the execs added.
Whether that will materialize, "24: Live Another Day" cast Kiefer Sutherland is open to anything, said Xpose Entertainment. The report said that the actor Kiefer Sutherland already missed playing the character Jack Bauer.
"My biggest fear about Jack was, 'Can we produce the standard the fans have been sued to?' I still feel there are more stories to tell," it said.
