It has been months now that rumors about "The Amazing Spider-Man 3" keep on sprouting, especially on the plot of the story. Now, a plan to make Spider-Man appear on Marvel's "The Avengers 3", and possibly on "The Avengers 4" as well, is undoubtedly banging the movie industry.

If the plan to split the sequel to "The Avengers" to third and fourth sequels will have, it was said that the main story of the third one will not focus on main characters such as Captain America and Thor but instead introducing new superheroes like Ant-Man, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, and the Guardians of Galaxy plus Spider-Man.

However, Spider-Man license is with Sony Pictures; thus, Marvel has to negotiate with Sony for a crossover, or perhaps, ask Sony to return the rights to Marvel.

With this, big changes could be expected with "The Amazing Spider-Man 3" in case "The Avengers 3" will be pushed to Civil War story.

The talks whether Andrew Garfield will play as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in Marvel's "The Avengers 3" is a different story. But the movie studio could try retaining Garfield as the webslinging friendly neighborhood superhero because after all he was loved by the Spider-Man fans even though the second sequel to Sony's franchise didn't make it well to the box office.

Until both Sony and Marvel announce the crossover, moviegoers, particularly Marvel fans, couldn't be assured of the appearance of Spider-Man in the plan Civil War for "The Avengers 3".

Meanwhile, there were also speculations that Iron Man would appear in "Captain America 3" which might be the teaser to the plan of Marvel to the plot of "Civil War" for the "The Avengers 3" and "The Avengers 4", which would be directed by brothers Joe and Anthony Russo.

Spider-Man, on the other hand, might also appear in Sony's anti-hero film, a movie spinoff to "The Amazing Spider-Man" franchise, "The Sinister Six" that is expected to hit the silver screen in 2016.
