Former "The Real Housewives of New York City" star Bethenny Frankel will now be returning to the show that made her famous.

Despite speculation that the Skinnygirl founder might be returning to the show because her talk show got canceled, Bethenny Frankel recently made sure to slam any and all rumors before they even began.

"Being on reality TV was very freeing for me," stated the addition to season 7 of RHONY.

She added that being on daytime television made her feel "very constricted and very handled."

Behtenny Frankel, who is now a mother to a 4-year-old daughter, stated that although this specific form of entertainment "can be challenging, stressful and often toxic, just like life, but for me, personally, reality TV is a great vehicle," according to People magazine.

Frankel left RHONY in 2010 and starred in her own reality television program "Bethenny Getting Married" followed by "Bethenny Ever After." She then experienced the end of her daytime talk show, which was canceled earlier this year.

The ratings for season 6 of RHONY have reportedly been rocky, according to Entertainment Weekly. Bethenny Frankel might be the perfect addition for the next season of the show.

Although "the band is not back together, there are some us who will be together, but not everyone," stated Frankel. It's not clear as to which of her former costars, Jill Zarin, Alex McCord, LuAnn de Lesseps and Ramona Singer will be returning to the show with Frankel.

"I'm excited. It feels like the first season when it was fresh and new and unknown," stated the 42-year-old regarding her return to the show.
