"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" star Nicholas Brendon was reportedly detained in Boise, Idaho following a disturbance at a hotel lobby while he was in town for an appearance at Tree City Comic Con, according to E! News.
The 43-year-old actor has since apologized for his "unacceptable behavior," but as it's being revealed that this isn't his first arrest, there is speculation that Brendon might be walking down the celebrity path of trouble.
Nicholas Brendon, who is best known for his role opposite Sarah Michelle Gellar on the popular CW vampire series, was reportedly previously arrested in March 2010 on suspicion of damaging property, as well as disorderly conduct.
In the most recent incident, the actor was reportedly taken to a local jail on charges of malicious injury to property and resisting or obstructing officers. He was reportedly released on $600 bond the next day.
"I apologize," posted Nicholas Brendon on Facebook Monday afternoon, according to TMZ.
He added, "Usually those words end a message like this but I am beginning with them to emphasize how much I regret disappointing my family, my fans, and myself. I can offer an explanation but I make no excuse for my unacceptable behavior."
The actor further explained himself, stating the had "been taking taking prescription pain medication to help me manage a cyst behind my knee cap, which is scheduled for corrective surgery on Monday morning. I made the poor decision to mix this prescribed medication with alcohol. The result was embarrassing and unacceptable."
Brendon, who played Xander Harris in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," had reportedly gotten married to girlfriend Moonda Tee in Las Vegas just one week ago.
"I intend to seek appropriate treatment and therapy for my medical ailments as well as my emotional demons," concluded Brendon.
