Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett's marital glitches have been open to the public this past few months. According to online tabloid Perezhilton, rumors that the former NFL pro had cheated on Kendra hit the fans. Are these supposed to be private problem made for the show?

Perezhilton noted Kendra On Top's third season premiere set a series ratings record and has only grown in viewership from there. The premiere raked in just over one million viewers while it aired. Each episode has grown since than with an increasing average of 1.2 million viewers.

While the couple's rough road may not be good for their family, it appears that it becomes beneficial for their show.

Reportedly, the couple struggled to stay on air in recent years. In 2012, Wilkinson's solo show Kendra was cut from E! because of falling ratings. WE tv launched Kendra On Top after that. Radar Online noted that "ratings for the last season grew 46% over Season One, but the scandal will surely help them maintain momentum."

Previous report noted that despite the controversy, Kendra hasn't filed for a divorce yet. According to Christian Post, it appears that the "Kendra on Top" star is trying to fix the marriage. She even heeds her estranged father's advice.

"While Kendra was apparently ready to kick Hank to the curb, she wanted to talk to her dad first, and apparently he made her realize that getting a divorce and raising her two children (4-year-old Hank IV and 4-month-old Alijah) alone wasn't necessarily the answer," a source told OK! Magazine.

On the other hand, according to E! Online, an audio tape allegedly confirming the ongoing rumors that former NFL Pro Hank Baskett cheated on Kendra was leaked online. Having learned of that, a source told the publication that the ex-Playmate is "reconsidering divorce."

What do you think about the publicized marital problems? Is it real or just for a show?
