Ellen DeGeneres & Portia De Rossi divorce and baby rumors have been on the news for quite sometime. The speculations that the couple are going to start a family have been addressed according to E! Online. Reportedly, the two have contested the rumors together in The Ellen DeGeneres show.
"I know everything about you, obviously, so we had viewers write questions," the host said. "One of the main things that everybody is asking me about, and asking you about, and I thought I would let you clear it up, is If we're having a baby or not? So, I thought maybe you should answer that question."
"We're not gonna have a baby?" DeGeneres asked. "No, we're not," De Rossi replied.
According to Star Magazine, a source, who claims to be close to Ellen said that they're having the baby not to save their relationship but to enrich their lives.
Reportedly, the rumors have been so strong that de Rossi's own sibling started to question whether the news was true.
"My brother called me and said, 'I heard I'm gonna be an uncle?'" she recalled. "There was a tiny little question in the word 'uncle,' because he didn't know. But he's not gonna read it on the cover of a tabloid." DeGeneres said her assistant "asked if I'm keeping something from him because it's so prevalent." She added, "Everyone assumes we really are having a baby and we're just not sharing it."
According to E! Online, DeGeneres already set straight the same issue as early as 2012.
"I don't know why people want this," she said on The Tonight Show. " I don't want to have one. I don't want to have six. I don't want to have any. They're precious to look at and I love them; we have nieces and I love them very much. [But I] don't want 'em."
Ellen and Portia were married since 2008 and has celebrated six years of togetherness last August.
