Diane Kruger Movies: 'The Bridge' Star Does Not Believe In Marriage? Actress Also Reveals She Finds The Red Carpet 'Stressful, Bizarre'

Not many foreign actresses have enjoyed the success she's had in Hollywood -- but that's because Diane Kruger is able to combine stunning good looks, plus unmistakable talent. It also helps that she always looks flawless on the red carpet! The Diane Kruger movies of the past years have proven her range and versatility as an actress, and in fact, her latest success comes not from the big screen, but in a TV role that has been quietly earning the respect and the admiration of both critics and fans alike.

We're talking about the FX crime drama, The Bridge, of course. The Diane Kruger movies have taken a back seat to her TV work, in which she plays detective Sonia Cross, who is involved in a cross country investigation involving a serial killer. And though she has achieved international recognition for her acting work, the actress still finds the whole celebrity thing a bit strange. In a recent interview with Harper's Bazaar Australia, the 38 year old actress shared her view on fame. : "Red carpets are a stressful, bizarre situation. Imagine having all those people yell at you and take photos. Not the most comfortable moment. It's ridiculous," Diane revealed. "Honestly, I just don't care what people say. It's not worth worrying about. I care about the film I've just made and what my boyfriend says when I walk out of the door."

The boyfriend in question of course, is none other than Dawson's Creek star Joshua Jackson. Though the two have not appeared in any Diane Kruger movies together, they have been inseparable since 2006. But wedding bells seem to be not on the agenda of the two even after being together for so long. "Without sounding pessimistic, I learned that I don't believe in marriage," Diane said in a March 2011 interview with Glamour magazine. "I believe in a commitment that you make in your heart. There's no paper that will make you stay."

In any case Diane does think about the future -- about getting old in a business such as the movie business. But even if Diane Kruger movies become few and far in between, she will never resort to plastic surgery just to remain young looking. "I want to age gracefully and I don't judge those who get injections," The Bridge star said in the Harper's Bazaar interview. "But we can't age backwards, so you have to embrace it sometime."
