A New Jersey nurse's Frito Lay flavor, Wasabi Ginger, is the newest addition to the list of contest winners.
Last year's Frito Lay Flavor Contest winner Cheesy Garlic is still on the shelves, according to CBS New York, which gives chip lovers the chance to compare the new Wasabi Ginger to 2013's winning taste.
Frito Lay fans have already turned to Twitter to share their thoughts on the new flavor.
"Did you know Lay's ginger wasabi chips were an idea brewed out of South Jersey? And they're legitimately good," commented Twitter user Stephen Maiorana.
Social media user Dixie Chik added, "Just curious - Have ya'll tasted these yet? I LOVE them!"
The other Frito Lay flavors that were qualified as finalists include Cappuccino, Bacon Mac & Cheese and Mango Salsa.
The Cappuccino flavor may have been the most unpopular out of the four, as social media users reportedly described it "nasty" and "gross," according to the Associated Press.
Ram Krishnan, Frito-Lay's chief marketing officer, reportedly stated this year's winner showed that Americans want more ethnic flavors now.
"We're kind of getting into a new flavor territory. When I went to school, Mexican food was exotic," stated Krishnan.
The winner of this year's contest, Meneko Spigner McBeth, was reportedly informed of her victory at a dinner for finalists on Monday night in New York City. She will reportedly get $1 million or a set percentage of a year in sales, whichever figure is larger.
