'Attack On Titan’ Season 2 Release Date Slated For April 2015; Volume 15 Comes With Prequel Film ‘Attack On Titan: No Regrets Birth Of Levi'

"Attack on Titan" Season 2 release date is possibly April 2015.

This may change, however, as the series, more known as "Shingeki no Kyojin" is dependent on the publication of Volume 15 of the manga where it is based. Each aspect is being sorted out to be able to proceed with the production. The manga may be out Dec. 2014.

Christian Post reported that the TV anime series, which premiered on April 7, 2013 and ended on September 28 the same year, achieved multitude of fans who are now excited to know the definite "Attack on Titan" Season 2 release date.

There's no denying the success of the manga. The original manga of Hajime Isayama, the creator behind "Attack on Titan", released 36 million copies. It is the inspiration behind the TV show adaptation last year. The initial volume of the TV anime reached 100,000 copies.

"Attack on Titan" Season 2 release date may not be confirmed yet but what is sure is that fans can expect more. Volume 15 comes with a prequel film titled "Attack on Titan: No Regrets Birth of Levi". It will be released this coming December.

Kodansha Comics said, "This prequel to megahit 'Attack on Titan' answers the questions: How did Captain Levi of the Survey Corps go from street tough to humanity's strongest soldier? And how did Commander Erwin become a cold, calculating leader, ready to sacrifice anything to save the human race? The fires that forged this bond of loyalty and trust were intense indeed!"

The movie will also feature several new faces, including Farlan and Isabel. Mariya Ise of "Hunter X Hunter" will be the voice behind Isabel. Koji Yusa of "Black Butler" will be Farlan's voice. "Attack on Titan: No Regrets Birth of Levi" will be helmed by Tetsuro Araki.

"Attack on Titan" Season 2 with possible release date of April 2015 may run until September 2015.
