Good news Marvel fans! The trailer of Avengers: Age of Ultron will shown during the episode 6 of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2.
According to reports from ComicBook.com, Marvel has announced that the Avengers 2 trailer will shown during Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode 6 entitled "A Fractured House" and the episode will be shown Tuesday, October 28, 2014.
That's not all, it will also feature new cast members as Screenrant reports that "White Collar" star Tim Dekay, and "Dollhouse" star Fran Kranz are the new cast members of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2 as Dekay will play Grant Ward's older brother, Senator Christian Ward.
Zap 2 It reports that DeKay's character will appear in episode 6 as Christian Ward was first mentioned in season 1 during Grant Ward's flashback scenes, when they were kids. The brothers’ relationship was abusive as Christian forced Grant to beat up their younger brother. Grant eventually set fire to their home while Christian was inside, landing him in the juvenile detention center where he was recruited by S.H.I.E.L.D./HYDRA agent John Garrett (Bill Paxton).
Further details were hinted in the episode 3 clip, during Grant's interrogation sessions with Skye.
As for Fran Kranz, he would play the role of Robert Boldwin a.k.a. the superhero Speedball. He first mentioned this in his tweet from Twitter account and luckily Screenrant posted the photo of his tweet before it was deleted.
Speedball is well known for his associations with other Marvel heroes such as Spider-Man and Nova Richard Rider. He's part of the superhero team the New Warriors and played a huge role during the Marvel Civil War storyline.
Meanwhile, three highly trained SHIELD agents are rumored to make a guest appearances in season 2.
According to reports from Den of Geeks, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. creators Joss and Jed Whedon pitched in an idea of having characters from the Avengers to guest star in the new episodes in season 2. Jed hinted that these characters are well renowned Shield agents and fans have speculated that these characters are none other than Black Widow/Natasha Romanov and Hawkeye/Clint Barton.
Several comic book fans wanted to see Hawkeye in the show to explain his absents during HYDRA'S takeover of S.H.I.E.L.D. in season 1.
But these two aren't the only characters to make an appearance in season 2. Sharon Carter a.k.a. Agent 13 is also rumored to join Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and is hinted to be a series regular. Sharon Carter first appeared in Captain America: The Winter Soldier played by Emily VanCamp.
So far, there is no confirmation yet these three agents will guest star in the show, but the possibilities are limitless.
