It was an exciting game when the Chicago Bulls clashed with the Cleveland Cavaliers in a home court advantage for the winning team.
It was a sold out party at the Value City Arena on the OSU campus as the crowd of 19,049 cheered on for their team after the Cavaliers beat the Chicago Bulls 107-98.
LeBron James received a standing ovation when he went inside the court as he had been welcomed in very part of the state.
He said "The excitement was there from the time we walked in the building. It was a school night; we had a lot of kids, a lot of college kids here. That shows the support there is. The least we can do is try and put on a show."
Kyrie Irving was Cleveland's top scorer having generated a total of 28 points with 20 points just done in the second half.
On the other side of the bench, Bulls star player, Derrick Rose was the show stopper after having accumulated a total of 30 points for his teams after only playing for 24 minutes.
He said "I'm used to playing with very good people and very good talent. That's all they've got on that team, is talent. You know when you play against them; you know you've got to come out here and ball."
James had 18 points in 31 minutes before exiting to a standing ovation with 6:29 to play and the Cavaliers ahead 92-81.
Cleveland coach David Blatt was happy of the end result saying "What I really liked obviously tonight is we had Kevin, Kyrie and LeBron on the court at the same time. We got a fair view of that. I thought it went fairly well."
When Blatt was asked about his comment on the return of Rose, he answered "As a basketball person, it's great to see him back. He means something to this league. It's good for the NBA. I don't know if it's good for us"
And with regards to James not playing on the next game, he replied "I want my guys coming in healthy and happy and if LeBron needs to sit another game, he'll sit another game. That's the priority."
While James said of his group "We're not the Big 3. We're a team."
