Jacob Ferrero, the boyfriend of 22-year-old Samantha Greenlee, has been charged with murder and aggravated arson of his pregnant girlfriend, according to the NY Daily News.
Greenlee had reportedly previously told police that she was scared of her boyfriend before she was found dead in the city of Groveport.
Ferrero reportedly confessed to killing his pregnant girlfriend and burning down their Columbus apartment. He even led the authorities to her body early Wednesday, Ohio police stated, according to Reuters.
The girlfriend of 22-year-old Ferrero went missing two weeks ago while the apartment the couple shared was set on fire two days after her disappearance, WSYX reported. Ferrero reportedly admitted to the authorities that he set fire to the apartment to cover up the killing, according to the media outlet.
Jacob Fererro, the father of Greenlee's unborn child, had reportedly been questioned several times over the past two weeks. Greenlee's family had reportedly grown suspicious of their daughter's boyfriend after she missed a doctor's appointment, according to WBNS-10TV.
The woman's family reportedly couldn't reach her while her boyfriend failed to report that she had gone missing. Greenlee was reportedly last seen leaving her job as a waitress at an Italian restaurant on October 8.
Ferrero reportedly has a scheduled court appearance on Thursday. It has reportedly not been confirmed whether he had a defense attorney.
