Another buzz rises that "Attack On Titan" Season 2 will premiere on April 2015.

Previously, Otaku House posted a prank article regarding the release date of "Attack On Titan" Season 2. Many anime fans got disappointed after knowing this news is just an April fools prank.

And now, some publications including Breathe Cast and Latin Times are saying that AOT season 2 might come out on April 2015.

On the article written by Danny Choi of Latin Times, he said that "Attack on Titan" Volume 15 will not be released until sometimes in December. He also cited that Wit Studios announcement about "Attack on Titan" Season 2. He said that development will not begin until Volume 15 was completed.

On his analysis, Season 2 would air in August 2015. However, Kpopstarz reported that "an insider allegedly disclosed that production has already begun for "Attack on Titan" Season 2." if this report is true, there is a possibility that "Attack on Titan Season 2" release date will be on April 2015.

IDigital Times explained why Wit Studios wasn't working on AOT season 2 yet:

"The truth is, there's a good reason why Wit Studios isn't working on the 'Attack on Titan' season 2 premiere just yet. Even after just one series, the show has covered a pretty substantial portion of the manga-a little more than half of it, in fact. The key words there are 'a little more.' It stands to reason that the second series will cover just about as much ground as the first series. And that means, if it came out right now, the anime would pass the material in the books."

As of the moment, there is no solid confirmation from the AOT production. Fans need more patience to wait for more updates. For the meantime, there will be a spin-off prequel of AOT. This prequel will focus on Levi, the leader of Survey Cops. As per Bleeding Cool, the prequel episodes will be released on December 9, 2014 and April 9, 2015.

The first film of live-action movie will premiere on November 22, 2014.
