The new season of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" is slated for a November 9 premiere on Bravo.
While the upcoming run has not begun, the fights have already started. According to new reports, original cast member Nene Leakes and newcomer Claudia Jordan are heating up the set.
Christian Post reported that the former "Deal or No Deal" model has "exchanged insults" with Leakes. The incident reportedly happened while the cast was filming an episode in Puerto Rico.
The rumored "Real Housewives of Atlanta" feud however proved to be beneficial to Jordan as she was offered a bigger role after the fuss she has created. Previous reports claim that she was originally offered a secondary role in the hit reality show.
"Claudia kept trying to start an argument with NeNe to get attention," a source said to the Daily Mail.
Leakes showed disinterest at Jordan's cheap digs at first, but she finally lost it and targeted the newcomer's cheap clothes, and her alleged "sexcapades" with multiple men.
That's when the heated argument began.
"NeNe called Claudia a pretender who was desperately trying to get a job on the show and living in Kenya's shadow," the insider explained to Daily Mail.
"Claudia told NeNe that she was just a few years from being off the stripper pole for good and that if she kept spending all her money on plastic surgery, she would have to brush up on her pole dancing routine."
"Real Housewives of Atlanta" started filming this summer. Previous seasons' mainstays Phaedra Parks, Kenya Moore, Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, and NeNe Leakes are all set to come back next season for more drama.
