The Minnesota Timberwolves are just fine without Kevin Love in the house as they won against the Indiana Pacers in a 107-89 final score.

The Timberwolves listed the help of Anthony Bennett who scored 17 points and Ricky Rubio who had 16 points that help lead the team.

Although recuperating from a sore left knee, Bennett is not showing any signs that he was struggling. Aside from him, other notable players from the team performed well to keep the team afloat and on lead including Chase Budinger scoring 12 points. Budinger is averaging nine points on 14-for-27 shooting this preseason after missing half of last season.

Budinger said "It's a big joy, just a big joy just getting my legs back and being able to knock down 3s and not being short on them, like I was all last year."On the other side of the bench, the Pacers had lost another key player to their team. Starting guard George Hill went down with a left-knee contusion in the third quarter.

According to Coach Frank Vogel "'It swelled up pretty good, so we'll see how he is tomorrow and take it day to day."

Adding "It's a challenge. It's the preseason and we've got to get everybody healthy going into the regular season and get as much work done as possible while that happens."

From the Pacers end, Donald Sloan scored 19 points for Indiana. Chris Copeland had 17 points, and Roy Hibbert finished with 14 points and nine rebounds.Timberwolves coach Flip Saunders says that their offense work well for the team saying "We're a little bit more active. I think we're trying to get all of our guys more purpose offensively."

Although Andrew Wiggins was thought to be the center of attraction for the team, Saunders says that Bennett has impressed the team now.He said "He's playing now like how a lot of people thought he would play a year ago. There's no question that the trade to here gave him a newfound life, energy and enthusiasm."

Adding "Definitely a huge difference. I feel a lot more confident now, in shape."
