You can't keep anything secret these days! Most movies have been the victims of leaks of on-set photos, working scripts, casting choices and trailers. The Avengers sequel is one such unfortunate victim. One day after Marvel announced that the very first official Avengers Age of Ultron trailer will be released on October 28, it suddenly became available online. Marvel had no choice but to debut the official trailer earlier, and much to the pleasure and excitement of fans -- Avengers 2 looks like it is all that it is cracked up to be.
The Avengers Age of Ultron trailer is undoubtedly, one of the most anticipated trailers to have been released. It has been shared all over social media, with each caption praising the first look at the Marvel sequel. But what exactly did we learn from this first official trailer? Well, first off, we can see a rift developing between Tony Stark (played by Robert Downey Jr.) versus the rest of the Avengers team. In one scene he is clashing with Thor (Chris Hemsworth), and in another one who is up in arms against the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo). This would be along the lines of the reported plot of Captain America 3, where Iron Man is depicted as a villain versus Captain America (Chris Evans). Tony Stark also has a very telling line in the Avengers Age of Ultron trailer: "It's the end, the end of the path I started us on."
Aside from the very evil and terrifying Ultron (James Spader), the Avengers' most formidable nemesis yet, we see our first glimpse of two characters -- Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), and Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor Johnson). From this Avengers Age of Ultron trailer, it would seem like Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are in cahoots with Ultron. But later on Quicksilver seems to have made a 360 degree turn and is shown going against Ultron. The explanation for this complete turnaround must be a key Avengers Age of Ultron plot point, and we can't wait for another trailer to look for rmore clues!
