"The Good Wife" season 6, episode 6 spoilers show Elsbeth trying to prove her case before a rigid judge as Alicia is facing her own challenge with the campaign for State Attorney now underway.

According to "The Good Wife" season 6, episode 6 spoilers from E! News, Carrie Preston's Elsbeth will butt heads with Ana Gasteyer's Judge Patrice Lessner.

"I'm a fan of hers, we have a lot of mutual friends. That was fun TO WORK with her, they've written a really great part for her and she really relishes it. That was fun to see Elsbeth interact with that character because she's never gone before her as a judge before...she's a very rigid judge, so that's fun," Carrie Preston told E!

Meanwhile, the promo trailer released by the network teased "The Good Wife" season 6, episode 6 which will focus on Alicia's campaign to become the State Attorney, which will present some challenges for Juliana Marguiles' character.

In the clip, it's shown that Alicia will get a body woman, who sticks to her and makes sure she's on time for every appointment as the character tells her, "and your food isn't poisoned."

Meanwhile, her campaign manager Jonathan Elfman (Steven Pasquale) tells her to open herself up to the public.

"You're asking them to vote for you so they deserve to know who you are," he tells her.

That means getting herself into embarrassing situations that test her faith as she guests in a talk show that takes a surprising turn as the host tells her, "and now turning to God..."

To which Alicia can only mutter awkwardly, "Uh oh..."

In the last episode, Alicia announced her intention to run for State Attorney. The Atlantic said that she's come full circle from the time she silently stood by her husband, Peter, as he apologized for having sex with prostitutes.

This time it's Peter by her side, standing silently while she makes the announcement.
