Aside from Slipknot news about the mysterious drummer, reports are emerging that Corey Taylor will join Anthrax. The vocalist also shared his previous experience about attempting suicide and depression.
Metal Rock News shared a video where Corey talks with "The You Rock Foundation" about his experiences.
Meanwhile, the Slipknot frontman (and also the vox of Stone Sour) nearly becomes a lead vox of Anthrax, as well. Based on Loudwire report, Taylor appeared on the 'Talk Is Jericho' podcast with Chris Jericho. During his visit, he shared how he almost became the vocalist for the metal vets and he was so upset when it didn't happen.
The vocalist racalled on the podcast show about how the idea started after he was invited to join Scott Ian and Frank Bello for an acoustic jam performance in New York.
"We started jamming and we had a blast and then we went to dinner somewhere after and someone, I don't remember who it was, jokingly said, 'Why don't you sing for us?' And we all laughed and then we got real quiet, and we were like, 'Well, why don't I?" Corey said.
The only thing hinders Taylor to join Anthrax is Roadrunner Records, which wouldn't allow him to do it, since Slipknot is set to return with the new album "All Hope Is Gone".
