iPad Air 2 Vs. iPad Mini 3: Apple recently launched it's set of tablet for the company's fall release. According to NY Times, Apple iPads are "the best tablets on the market today." Both come with a new gold color option and touch ID fingerprint sensor which has been popular from iPhone 5s and iPhone 6. Between the two, which one are you going to choose? Here's a brief comparison on the two new Apple gadget.

According to Gotta Be Mobile, the iPad Air 2 has the latest A8X processor from Apple. It has a 64-bit chip that offers 2.5x faster GPU performance, 40% faster than the A7 processor in its predecessor. The iPad mini 3 still only comes with the last-gen A7 processor. It also comes with the new M8 motion processor, just like in the iPhone 6.

The iPad Air 2 is also lighter and thinner than the iPad Air. Less the Touch ID fingerprint sensor, this new tablet looks almost the same as its previous generation.

On the other hand, NY Times noted that the iPad mini 3 is almost identical with last year's iPad mini 2. It did not receive many upgrades. The new mini have not upgraded its processor as well as the same camera. Aside from its new gold color option, touch ID fingerprint sensor and Apple pay, there is not much of innovations from last year's model.

According to NY Times, the full-size 9.7-inch iPad Air 2 starts at $499, and the7.9-inch iPad Mini 3 starts at $399. Both entry-level models have only 16 GB of storage space. Reportedly, you should pay the $100 upgrade to 64 gigabytes.
