A month after Apple unveiled the new iPhone, and just a week after the new iPad Air was revealed, reports are claiming that the iPad Pro release date will be in a few weeks.

Tech Radar explained that the new Apple slate might be unveiled this year. Speculations arose that it might even follow the iPad Air's release date which was November 1 in 2013. But another rumor suggested that there might be a delay, and the iPad Pro release date will be pushed back to 2015.

According to Tech Radar: "The latest rumour is that the iPhone 6 was to blame for the iPad Pro delay. According to the Wall Street Journal, Apple's suppliers struggled to keep up with demand for its latest smartphone, which had a knock-on effect by pushing the iPad Pro back to 2015."

"Another rumour, which stems from the supply chain cited by Digitimes, reckons that Apple has a 12.9-inch iPad Pro in the works that will arrive in early 2015. If true, it could be worth the wait, as that report claims that the slate will run a hybrid OS X and iOS-integrated operating system."

"If that happens, reports from Taiwan that point to the iPad Pro as housing a more powerful version of the A8 chipset found in the iPhone 6 start to make a bit more sense."

Meanwhile, Tech Radar has also shared some leaked dummy photos of the iPad Pro.

According to the iPad Pro release date news:

"The image purportedly shows a "dummy model" for the iPad Pro, and judging by the hand that's holding it, the Apple logo and the camera, it seems to be quite a bit larger than the iPads we're used to."

Meanwhile, Christian Post offered more information about the new iPad Pro:

"According to Mac Rumors, the new size of the tablet will surprise fans, but the specs may be even more surprising."

"Taiwan's TechNews indicated in their report that a powerful A8 processor will be mounted on the device and will be given with a 2GB amount of RAM for a 'really fast application launch.'"

"Also, it will have the Touch ID, same as what the Oct. 16 released iPads have," the article added.
