Zack Snyder's highly anticipated new movie that pits two giants in the superhero scene isn't going to be shown until two years from now. Specifically, the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice release date is slated on March 25, 2016, and yet so many news, and leaks, and secrets from the movie have spilled onto the internet and mainstream media already. The latest one is concerned with the Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice trailer. According to a report from Collider, the trailer is very much finished and could be coming out much, much sooner than expected.
According to Batman-on-Film.com, as reported by Collider, insider sources close to the Zack Snyder production of the Batman v Superman movie have related to them that the trailer is done. "Complete and ready to go," were the exact words quoted by the website. Further, the trailer might be attached to a big name movie that will be released any time this November or December. And what are the biggest blockbuster movies expected to come out during that season? The website speculates that the most likely movie where the Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice trailer will be attached to, would be the final installment of The Hobbit, The Battle of the Five Armies.
If this report is true, then we could soon confirm whether recent casting rumors that surfaced are actually true. The most recent leak that floated in the Internet is that the character of Robin will be in the movie, and that The Hunger Games actress Jena Malone is set to play the female version of Robin. Malone recently posted an Instagram photo where her hair is dyed red -- which is the same color that the character Carrie Kelley (Robin) sports in Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns.
In any case, any real footage and casting confirmation by way of a Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice trailer is welcome news, so watch out for this when you go see The Hobbit: The Battle of The Five Armies this December!
