Are you ready for Taylor Swift's new album?

Apparently, some people were more than a little eager to hear the pop sensation's newest offering, '1989.' According to USA Today, Big Machine Records scrambled to stop a widespread leak of the new album on Friday.

Due to drop on Monday, Big Machine had to quickly take down 'Blank Space' which leaked on YouTube earlier that day. Vulture reported that hackers could have originated from Target because they got hold of the album's 13 main tracks as well as the 19 songs specially compiled for the Target edition.

Leaking of Taylor Swift's new album is hardly new. Her 2012 record, 'Red,' was also leaked before the set release date. Despite the hacking, though, album sales for 'Red' still exceeded expectations. It reportedly went on to sell 1.23 million copies on its first week.

USA Today reported that Swift's company isn't worried about the leak this time either. '1989' has been receiving some positive responses from music reviewers and critics.

Billboard described Taylor Swift's new album as her "best work." The review went on to say that '1989' is "a sophisticated pop tour de force that deserves to be as popular commercially as with Robyn-worshipping bloggers; an album that finds Swift meeting Katy and Miley and Pink on their home turf and staring them down."

"Swift breaks with the past, skirting victimhood and takedowns of maddening exes, critics and romantic competitors. Instead, there's a newfound levity. Not only is Swift in on the joke; she also relishes it," TIME complimented the new album.

Rolling Stone also enjoyed the record, writing, "Deeply weird, feverishly emotional, wildly enthusiastic, '1989' sounds exactly like Taylor Swift, even when it sounds like nothing she's ever tried before. And yes, she takes it to extremes. Are you surprised? This is Taylor Swift, remember?"

How awesome do you think Taylor Swift's new album will be?
