Following the success of Samsung Gear Fit, tech giants could not help but to explore that market as well. In the coming month, the world can look forward to seeing the debut of the Motorola Moto 360 and the Apple iWatch. Both accessories are going to be the first to come from their respective company but which of them is the better choice?
While there has yet to be any announcements regarding the features of both device, it is highly speculated how both watches will look like. For starters, the Moto 360 and the iWatch will be built with a round face. Up until today, every smartwatch bears a square face which is less appealing according to experts.
The Moto 360, in particular, will have its internal specs built-in at the bottom of the device. The display is going to be edge-to-edge and there will also be a single button on the right-side of the circle.
As for the iWatch, the rumours that suggested it to have a similar display are weak. It is still an open argument with new rumours suggesting it to be based on Nike's FuelBand. The iWatch is tipped to come with plenty of sensors that will support various functions like the health app on iOS 8.
One thing is for sure and is that both devices will have push notification function. Aside from that, the Moto 360 will run on the Android Wear OS while the iWatch will be operated with Siri.
Finally are the prices of these devices. With the high expectations going on for the iWatch and Moto 360, we can expect them to be costly as well. Then again, Motorola will surely keep their device priced in the $200-$300 range. As for Apple, they will surely release a pricey iWatch ahead.
