In an age of social media and advance technology, leaks and spoilers for much awaited blockbuster movies are becoming more commonplace. Even Marvel's Avengers Age of Ultron trailer was the victim of a leak, ahead of its announced October 28 premiere. The studio had no choice then but to release the trailer of the sequel to their blockbuster movie, and they even had the sense of humor to blame Hydra for the trailer leak.
In any case, the Avengers Age of Ultron trailer clocked in staggering numbers when it was released. On the official website of Marvel, they thanked all those who watched the trailer -- all 34.3 million watchers who clicked on video within the first 24 hours of its release. (This broke the record of 20 million that Iron Man 3 registered in 2013).
But what exactly did we learn from this first official trailer? Well, first off, we can see a rift developing between Tony Stark (played by Robert Downey Jr.) versus the rest of the Avengers team. In one scene he is clashing with Thor (Chris Hemsworth), and in another one who is up in arms against the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo). This would be along the lines of the reported plot of Captain America 3, where Iron Man is depicted as a villain versus Captain America (Chris Evans). Tony Stark also has a very telling line in the Avengers Age of Ultron trailer: "It's the end, the end of the path I started us on."
Now Marvel is announcing that more exciting footage will be added to the previously stated date of airing on October 29, during Agents of SHIELD. Plus, even more clips can be expected on November 4 during the screening of the Marvel documentary entitled Marvel 75 Years: From Pulp to Pop! The official statement from the Marvel site says that fans should expect "another taste of Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron -- and much more!"
