Kang Bu Jah has finally discovered the truth about Gwi Nam's disappearance. The scene in which she furiously confronts Nah Young Hee left viewers extremely anxious.
July 22's episode of 'Unexpected You' had an audience rating of 38.6% according to AGB Nielsen Media. It ranked number one amongst the dramas airing at the same time.
In this episode, Mak Rye (Kang Bu Jah) begins to yell furiously at Yang Sil (Nah Young Hee) as soon as she sees her. Mak Rye has learned that it was Yang Sil's fault that Gwi Nam (Yoon Jung Sang) was lost 30 years ago.
After accidentally discovering a ripped photograph of 5 year-old Gwi Nam at Yang Sil's home, Mak Rae became suspicious. She finally finds out the truth about Gwi Nam and Yang Sil after talking to Gwi Nam.
Yang Sil visits Mak Rye when she hears that she is not feeling well. Yang Sil asks, "Are you feeling very ill?" Mak Rye replies, "Gwi Nam's disappearance. That it doesn't have anything to do with you. You tell me yourself," which leads to more anger. Mak Rye becomes 100% confident that Gwi Nam's disappearance is Young Sil's fault as Young Sil is extremely nervous and unable to answer. Yang Sil eventually explains, "I am so sorry...I saw Gwi Nam at the market, so we got on the bus together and I accidentally left him there when I got off. I wasn't myself."
Even more furious at Yang Sil's explanation Mak Rae responds, "A mistake? If it was a mistake you should have told us that day. Or the next day. Or if you couldn't tell us the next day then you should have told us when Gwi Nam showed up next door. Are you in your right mind now? How could you have made that kind of mistake and constantly showed up at my home and looked me straight in the eye? Did you rip up the picture because you weren't in your right mind? You are really a very scary child..."
Yang Sil returns home crying and calls Chung Ae (Yoon Yeo Jung) saying that she has something to tell her. Many viewers became nervous as they watched an oblivious Chung Ae leave to meet Yang Sil and potentially discover the truth about Gwi Nam's disappearance.
