Manny Pacquiao news reveals that retirement is not yet within the immediate plans of "Pacman." The eight-division world champion is also extremely hopeful for the mega fight against Floyd Mayweather to Happen in 2015.

Pacquiao, who holds a record of 56-5-2 (38 victories by knockout), will be facing undefeated WBO light welterweight champion Chris Algieri on November 22nd at the CotaiArena in Macau, China. "Pacman will be putting his WBO welterweight title on the line.

At 35-years of age, the Filipino boxing superstar has been fighting professionally for 18 years and counting. He has fought the toughest opposition, from Marco Antonio Barrera, to Erik Morales, David Diaz, Juan Manuel Marquez, Oscar De La Hoya, Miguel Cotto, and Shane Mosley, just to name a few.

But for the eight-division world champion, retirement is still far away from his plans.

"I'm not thinking yet about retirement," Pacquiao said in a report by Telegraph Sports. "I will continue my boxing career, the journey will continue in my boxing career and we'll see what happens."

Manny Pacquiao news reveals the many criticisms he has received regarding his extra-curricular activities outside of boxing. Apart from battle inside the ring, "Pacman" is also a playing coach for his basketball team KIA Sorento under the Philippine Basketball Association.

While many have condemned Pacquiao, he still maintains that his focus is on boxing and his task ahead.

"No, absolutely I'm not taking this fight lightly because I know his hunger and he's young and he wants to win the fight, but I will not let that happen," Pacquiao said.

Manny Pacquiao news also reveals that the Filipino champion is extremely hopeful for the highly anticipated mega fight against pound-for-pound boxing king Floyd "Money" Mayweather. In fact, Pacquiao says that he is "crossing his fingers" for the fight to happen in the coming year.

"I'm crossing my fingers that that fight will happen but right now my mind is already set to focus on my next fight with Algieri," Pacquiao said. "I think the time to talk about that issue is after the fight."
