Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin split rumors continue as the "Hunger Games" star has put on a brave face when she was spotted going to her car in Santa Monica on Monday.
A source confirmed the Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin split to Us Weekly and blamed the busy schedules of the actress and the Coldplay frontman as the likely reason.
"They really like each other but it's just so complicated with so much going on," the source added.
The Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin split came just four months after the two reportedly started dating. The magazine said that snagging the Coldplay singer was a 'fantasy come true" for the "Hunger Games" star who's had a crush on Gwyneth Paltrow's ex since she was just a teenager.
Meanwhile, a source told MailOnline that the breakup was more than their busy schedules.
"Jen got tired of watching Chris play happy families with Gwyn and was annoyed that he was trying to keep her hidden away," it said.
The Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin split reports came on the heels of the dinner that the couple had with Gwyneth Paltrow in a sushi restaurant in Los Angeles. Witnesses claimed that the 42-year-old actress was very sweet toward her ex-husband, and later the 24-year-old Jennifer Lawrence went out with a friend and looking "glum."
News of the breakup was first reported by E! News which said that the pair has been extremely private about their relationship.
Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin began seeing each other in June when she broke off her relationship with long-time boyfriend Nicholas Hoult.
"Throughout the course of their relationship, Lawrence and Martin stayed mum on their romance, and they were only photographed together once during their nearly four-month relationship," it said.
In an earlier interview with Vanity Fair, Jennifer Lawrence revealed her ideal relationship which is just staying home and watching her favorite reality TV shows. "I'd rather have just a peaceful time. [Those] are deeper because you can be your true self with somebody, and somebody can be their true self with you," she said.
