OnePlus fanatics are now eyeing on the release of OnePlus Two phone after the release of its predecessor OnePlus One. Although certain conflicts emerged during the launch of the 2014 flagship, in the aspect of shipping and distribution to be exact, we cannot get away from the fact that OnePlus One has proven its reputation in the mobile industry through its competitive specs and features, in which some of them are even better than the titans.

Codenamed as 'Lettuce', OnePlus Two is now making some noise after company executives Carl and David announced its release slated within Q2-Q3 of 2015. As per Carl's pronouncement at the AMA session: "OnePlus 2 should be out in Q2 or Q3 of 2015. We've seen a lot of people asking for a smaller device, and want to let everyone know that we hear you. We're thinking about it."

While no definite specs have been released yet, representatives are now thinking about the release of a smaller OnePlus Two, as compared to its bulky predecessor OnePlus One. It will allegedly run on an Android L platform, with more responsive touchscreen and faster hardware performance.

The said device also aims to compete with the flagships Samsung Galaxy S5, Google Nexus 5, and HTC One.

Dangling a price tag of $300 with surprisingly high-end features, its predecessor OnePlus One easily became one of the most sought-after midrange phones. In fact, according to PC Advisor, this model can compete with Samsung Galaxy S5, Sony Xperia Z2, LG G3, and HTC One M8.

Here's a recap of OnePlus One's specs and features to help you manage your expectations on OnePlus Two:

Design and Display

Undoubtedly one of the biggest phones in the market (coming in 152.9x75.9x8.9mm), The OnePlus One still has a minimalist appearance with its chrome plate around the rear camera, a monolithic black front screen, and the logos on the back cover. You can choose between its 16 and 64GB variants, but it doesn't have a MicroSD slot for additional memory.
