DROID Turbo release date confirmed. Motorola have announced the new DROID Turbo for Verizon Wireless is official, and available for pre-order starting today according to Gotta Be Mobile.

Reportedly, the smartphone with the size of the new Moto X 2014 runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat, with a promise to Android 5.0 Lollipop soon. Motorola's new Verizon DROID Turbo have the entire Motorola suite off apps like in the Moto X (2014) Review. It has Moto Voice, Display, Actions, and Assist.

According to Gotta Be Mobile, Droid boasts of its 5.2-inch display, with screen resolution increased from 1080p to a 2560 x 1440 Quad-HD, or a 2k resolution display. The latest smart gadget from Motorola has a sleek Kevlar finish with 21 MP camera and 3,900mAh battery charging wirelessly promising over 48 hours of usage.

Gotta Be Mobile noted that the "Turbo in the name is partly due to the fast processor and stunning specs, but also for the Turbo Charger that will come in the box using Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 technology and a new Motorola Turbo Charger." The "Turbo Charger" delivers 8 hours of battery life after only 15 minutes on the charger.
