"The Good Wife" season 6, episode 7 spoilers reveal that that Alicia will have competition for state attorney as Finn will get a surprising case discovery.
The network has not named Alicia's competition for the post, said "The Good Wife" season 6, episode 7 spoilers, but there are reports that this could be Frank Prady, played by David Hyde Pierce.
This also marks David Hyde Pierce's first regular TV show since "Frasier" ended in 2004, said Cartermatt.
"As you may have heard already, David Hyde Pierce is going to make his first major TV appearance since 'Frasier' on the show, and will be playing a political commentator who, upon taking issue with so many problems in Chicago, may decide to run for office," the website said. "In turn, this could cause even more problems for Alicia."
According to the earlier report from TV Guide, "Frasier" alum David Hyde Pierce will play a recurring role on the show as a hard-hitting legal commentator for a cable news program, who is very critical of the downward spiral of Chicago.
The website said that David Hyde Pierce character, tired of corruption and the high crime rate, ultimately decides to become a politician.
In a joint statement by executive producers Robert and Michelle King, they said they are flattered that Pierce chose "The Good Wife" to be his "first TV role since 'Frasier.'"
"We're tremendous fans of his dramatic skills as well as his comedy," the statement added.
"The Good Wife" season 6, episode 7 spoilers can be gleaned from the synopsis which reads: "While preparing his case against Cary, Finn discovers a potentially devastating piece of evidence, which could have ramifications for Alicia and Peter.
