"Attack On Titan" Season 2 release date is rumored to be set for April 2015. However, there's no official announcement from Crunchy Roll, Wit Studio, and Kodansha Comics (publisher of "AOT").

Aside from live-action movie which is divided into two parts (part 1: "Crimson Bow and Arrow" and Part 2: "Wings Of Freedom"), AOT prequel, "No Regrets" is also something to look forward as it will lead viewers on the history of Captain Levi (how he was able to become a leader) and Commander Erwin. The prequel will be premiered on December 9, 2014 and it will end to April 9, 2014.

Since the AOT prequel will end on April 9, 2014, many fans are speculating that the anime series will be followed up by its season 2.

IDigital Times warned fans not to believe the rumors spreading regarding "Attack On Titan" Season 2 release date. Their writer, Apolon said that AOT season 2 premiere date has always been the same as the manga version. Wit Studio worked on "Attack on Titan" prequel anime, but it may take time to work for season 2.

Meanwhile, the live-action movie will come out. AOT Part 1: "Crimson Bow and Arrow" will cover the first 13 episodes, and it will hit theaters in Japan on November 22, 2014, while the second film "Wings of Freedom" will continue the remaining episodes of season 1 (14 episodes and up). Part 2 will be released in 2015.
