LeBron James and his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, didn't fare well during their debut game in the NBA season. They lost over to the New York Knicks at home court and it did not go well for the team.

The Cavs vs Knicks match ended in a 95-90 score in favor of NY and for James who has been pressure with his return home he said that he is "glad it's over."

James knew how important a season opener is. Having won several NBA championships as Olympic medals, he knows it is special. He said "'I understand how much I mean to this team, to this franchise, to this city and to this state. It's a different feeling, but I'm still as calm and excited at the same time because it's the first game of the season."

Because of their lost, the team now has an added vigor to win, most specially James.

The next match was against the Cavs and the Bulls and it went very well for Cleveland. James scored 36 points and the Cleveland Cavaliers beat Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls 114-108 in overtime on Friday night.

James performed at his best during the match against the Bulls giving the rookie coach David Blatt his first win this season.

James said "'It was an opportunity to go out and redeem ourselves and I was happy with the outcome."

On the other side, Rose also gave an outstanding performance for the Chicago Bulls. He has 20 points for his team but was sidelined with a sprained left ankle coupled by a better performance from James.

Rose said "The gods, they're testing me right now, man."

Kyrie Irving who scored well during their first game is impressed by Tristan Thompson performance. Kirk Hinrich hit two free throws with 46.8 seconds when the sore stopped at 106-104. Then came Thompson's hard dunk after rebounding James' jumper to make it a four-point game with 24 seconds left. Thompson tied a franchise record with 12 offensive rebounds.

Irving said "It's a true testament to how hard Tristan works. That's something that he gives us. He gives us energy, and that's what we want him to do every single night. I know he's capable of doing it. For us, it just adds another dimension for our team to get more possessions."
