Jamie McKay, star of "16 and Pregnant" has just given birth to her second child with her boyfriend, Ryan McElrath. It looks like it was a happy Halloween for the reality TV couple.
Their first child together, Miah, has just turned four years old and their new baby, Mason, was welcomed into the world on October 25th.
This was actually a very huge surprise for the press, particularly because McKay and McElrath opted to keep this second pregnancy a secret from social media. Perhaps it was their attempt at trying to avoid being criticized. Also, it was surprising since they were both very vocal with the first pregnancy and their fans never suspected they would keep mum about their second one.
As fans of the show would most likely recall, McKay opted to have an abortion back in 2012, a feat that had obviously made some, if not most, of her fans quite upset.
However, she had admitted that she is ready for the challenge involved with being a mom this second time around. She even revealed to "The Ashley's Reality TV Roundup, "I wouldn't trade my babies for anything."
McKay also added that she and McElrath are both doing very well with regards to their children and towards one another. She said, "He has been such a big help."
Moreover, McKay also confessed that her second pregnancy was a bit difficult for her, as compared to her first one. She shared, "With Mason, I had a lot of pain." She ended up having to leave work at 32 weeks since she was "dilated and having contractions." Luckily for the second-time parents and baby Mason, everything turned out to be okay.
These very young parents are still adjusting to life with two children. McElrath, however, is vocally fine with stopping at having only two. McKay, on the other hand, is not so sure yet. It would seem that she is thinking about having more.
