Kristi and Benjamin Strack together with their three children's dead bodies were discovered in the couple's bedroom in September, as reported by People. One of the couple's sons discovered the bodies.

In a statement released to People magazine, Lt. David Caron from the Springville Police Department said:

"At this point, we're waiting for the results of the autopsies."

"Anything else I said right now would be pure speculation."

There have been speculations that the poison that killed the Utah family of five was easily accessible from the victims' home, a few moments before they were found dead.

In a police affidavit, People reported that Salt Lake City's Fox 13 allegedly spread the word about the possible cause of the family's death.

The affidavit read allegedly as follows:

"Investigators at the scene determined the cause of death to be an accidental or intentional poisoning either by ingestion or environmental causes."

As of the moment, investigations for the victims' death are still ongoing.
