Good news gaming fans as new gameplay features for Final Fantasy XV have been revealed.

According to reports form Nova Crystalis, Square Enix has showcased new gameplay videos of Final Fantasy XV at the Paris Games week presentation.

During the presentation FFXV director Hajime Tabata explained the game's new open-world exploration, night and day battles, fishing mini-game and airships. He also shared a tech demo that showcases character models, and battle gameplay.

In the video, the main character Noctis along with his crew run through the fields as viewers were able to see giant monsters with enemy designs inspired by Yoshitaka Amano. At night, the mobs become extremely dangerous and at one point in the video wild chocobos are clearly visible.

Square Enix is also working on a variety of mini-games, such as fishing. Tabata originally wanted a number of them in FF Type-0, but he’ll be pouring his energy into that for the game instead. Square Enix is also looking into adding the Japanese voice overs into the overseas version as well.

“The gameplay video from E3 2013 was cool,” said Tabata as he showed off some XV development images in a behind-the-scenes sort of video. “But we’re planning even better stuff for March 2015.”

He also showed off another tech demo focusing on newcomer Luna, whom the team created an actual wig for her hair. Currently, Final Fantasy XV is running on Luminous 1.4, but Tabata hopes to get it on the 2.0 version before its release.

Meanwhile, the PC version of FFXV is rumored to be cancelled.

According to reports from Attack of the Fanboy, freelance writer Daniel Sims claimed that Square Enix will not have a PC version of Final Fantasy XV as he tweeted about it in his Twitter account.

The Bit Bag reported before that Square Enix President, Yosuke Matsuda, stated that while the Final Fantasy XV will not be showcased at E3 2014, he confirmed that they are working on the PC version of the game right now. He allegedly revealed that the games were made with Direct X 11 tools and they've already confirmed that Final Fantasy XV will be released on PC.

"We haven't decided when, but we're currently preparing new information that may meet everyone's expectations. Please wait for a little while longer."

Final Fantasy XV will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
