Usher has always served as a mentor for the internationally famous "Beauty and the Beat" singer Justin Bieber. He has been with the young pop star through thick and thin, but he has recently told Billboard that he was "not happy" with how Biebs has been acting lately.
Bieber had a recent run-in with the law in August when he was arrested for misdemeanor, dangerous driving and assault. Apart from his issues with the law, Justin Bieber has also been quite famous for being a social irritant, who is, more often than not, involved in various types of ruckus that makes it to the headlines.
Usher has always been there by the Canadian superstar's side since the child star broke into the spotlight when he was only 13 years old. However, according to the "Yeah" singer, their relationship has developed into something that is "more man-to-man now."
"He's making his own decisions and it's important to show support," said the 36-year-old Usher. "I can say I'm not happy with all the choices my friend has made, but I'm supportive of him. I try my hardest to give as much positive reinforcement as I can. I'll punch him in the f*cking chest when I need to, and give him a hug and kiss when I need to. It's more than just mentoring. I love the kid."
Just last week, Usher managed to summarize how he feels for Justin Bieber's maturity, or, perhaps, the lack of. "There's not really much to talk about," Usher stated. "He's living out his life. I think that we all have experienced, been through sh*t, and you go through it. It's my new motto: Sh*t happens. What are you going to do?"
Moreover, the Biebs went to a Cleveland Cavaliers game recently. Sadly for the young star, he was booed quite immensely. He must really love the sport if he is willing to put it up with all that booing. Fortunately for him, he already had an ear plug on, which he started to wear after an injury that he got from jumping cliffs in September.
