In a recent interview with Larry King, "Two and a Half Men" star Jon Cryer spoke on the possibility of Charlie Sheen returning to the show for the series finale.
Although Sheen revealed to TV Guide in September that he wanted to come back to"Two and a Half Men" and told Extra this week that he is only "just a meeting away" from finalizing an appearance on the show, Cryer has a lot of doubts.
“I don’t know," said Cryer. "The amount of bridges that would have to be repaired to do that? I don’t know if they’re reparable.”
After King alleged that Sheen was just witnessed acting "over the top" at a restaurant, Cryer compared his former co-star to a family addict.
“It’s like having an addict in your family. You keep hoping," said Cryer. "I know the depth of him is a really good guy. The guy who was sober for six years.”
Despite all the time Cryer has spent with Sheen, he wouldn't call them thick as thieves.
“When you’re friends with Charlie Sheen you need to decide how much of that you can have in your life," said Cryer. "I wouldn’t say we’re not friends … I can’t really have him in my life.”
Cryer may have his doubts on the appearance of Sheen in the series finale of "Two and a Half men," but everything is still up in the air.
“We haven’t shot the final show, ” Cryer said. “We don’t even know what’s going to happen in the final show.”
