NBC and Tim Kring will be remaking the 2006-2010 superhero series, 'Heroes,' next year and avid fans of the old show are already talking about which characters will be coming back.

The 'Heroes Reborn' cast list excitement kicked off with the show's twitter page announcing the return of a fan favorite.

Jack Coleman will be reprising his role as HRG a.k.a. Horn-Rimmed Glasses, a.ka. Noah Bennet. He's also famous for being an overprotective father for cheerleader Claire Bennet.

Unfortunately, Milo Ventimiglia (who played Peter Petrelli), Hayden Panettiere (who played Claire Bennet), Zachary Quinto (who played Sylar) and Ali Larter (who played Nikki Sanders) opted not to reprise their roles.

Reports also say that the reboot will be dealing with new characters entirely. There might be a fresh line-up of characters for next year's show but fans can still hope for some of the people from the original series to drop by for a cameo (maybe in flashbacks?).
