Good news gaming and anime fans! New updates for the new SAO game, Sword Art Online: Lost Song have been revealed.

AnimeNewsNetwork reports that Bandai Namco games posted the english sub trailer of Sword Art Online for the PS3 and PSVita consoles.

That's not all, the release date for Sword Art Online: Lost Song is set on March 26, 2016 in Japan on the Dengeki PlayStation magazine. The PS3 version will cost 7,120 yen (about US$66) and the PS Vita version will cost 6,170 yen (US$57). A limited edition that includes box art by abec, an original soundtrack CD, a Blu-ray Disc with special content, a mini-clear poster, and a special booklet will cost 9,980 yen (US$92).

New gameplay details have also been mentione in the new SAO game. According to reports from Siliconera, gamers will have to opportunity to play as their favorite SAO characters aside from Kirito in Lost Song courtesy of gamestalk.net.

The previews SAO game SAO: Hollow Fragment players can only control Kirito, while the rest of the cast are just suppot characters, but now players can now control other characters such as Asuna, Leafah, Sinon, Klein, and many more.

Siliconera also added that their might be new characters introduced in SAO: Lost Song.

Sword Art Online: Lost Song is the third SAO video game in anime light novel, and unlike the previews titles it is set on another VRMMRPG called ALfheim Online. It still incorporates the same elements as the previews games were in players still control Kirito, but the trailer revealed that players can now fly just like in the anime and light novel adaptations.

Bandai Namco will likely reveal more details for SAO: Lost Song in Vol. 576 of Dengeki PlayStation magazine on October 16, 2014. Bandai Namco first announced the GAME'S DEVELOPMENT at the 2014 Tokyo Game Show stage event on September 19 as Reki Kawahara's Sword Art Online light novel series already inspired the Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment and Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment games for the PS Vita.
