Queen and Adam Lambert have been taking the music world by storm with their collaboration tour around the world. After finishing the North American and Canadian leg of the tour, the legendary rock group is now focusing on finishing their new album, 'Queen Forever.'
Will the 'Let Me Entertain You' singer feature in the highly anticipated new record? According to Roger Taylor, it would be "interesting" for them to do a collab song.
"I think it would be great to do something, yeah," the drummer told Matt Wardlaw from Ultimate Classic Rock.
The iconic musician would love to work on a song with the American Idol finalist but not "a whole album."
"He's got his own stuff to do, and that's very much a priority for him," he said, talking about the upcoming album that Lambert plans to release. "I think it would be very interesting, because his voice is so extraordinary and I think we could really do something great with it. I see no end to the possibility and the potential of Adam Lambert."
He added, "He's a fabulous performer, and I think it would be very interesting to do something with him."
Bringing in Lambert to stand in for the group's late frontman, Freddie Mercury has been getting great reception from Lambert's fans and rock purists alike. Reviewers are being pleasantly surprised with how Queen and Adam Lambert match each other's musicality so well.
"He fitted in so well with us and he brought so much to the show," Taylor further complimented the 'Trespassing' singer.
Meanwhile, producer William Orbit, who previously worked with Madonna, Britney Spears and Blur, will be working with Queen for 'Queen Forever.' The new album will also feature restored unreleased tracks that the band recorded before Mercury died in 1991.
Queen and Adam Lambert will bring their amazing music to Europe in January of next year. Ticket sales for the series of concerts are quite strong and additional dates have already been added to meet fans' demands.
How interesting do you think would Queen and Adam Lambert's collaboration for the new album be?
