Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard are known for their traditional beliefs. It's surprising that the "19 Kids and Counting" stars go against what is conventional before saying "I do." According to People, the couple decided to meet up and see each other before they tie the knot.

Reportedly, Derick was able to have a first look at his then bride-to-be's Allure Romance gown from Ava Laurénne Bride in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Co-owner Wendy Rivera, with a seamstress, helped Jill create just the right look.

"Babe, you look absolutely amazing," says Derick, 25, in an exclusive preview of the special, 19 Kids & Counting: Jill's Wedding. "Wow. I've never seen you so gorgeous. I love you."

Equally amazed with her groom, Jill expressed her admiration to Derick in the clip.

"He looked amazing," Jill said. "As cute as ever."

Jill and Derick's June 21 nuptial was held at the Cross Church in Springdale, Arkansas infront of more than 1000 guests. The couple's wedding that was featured in a special episode of "19 Kids and Counting" on Oct. 28 drew a lot of attention from viewers. According to Christian Today, the wedding day special drew 4.4 million viewers, which claimed the number one spot that night edging out "Sons of Anarchy" on FX. The special set a new record for TLC's show.

Looking back at the wedding day, People noted that Jill's parents had emotional moments during the wedding day.

"It couldn't be a more beautiful day today," Michelle, Jill's mom told the publication. "Today is the longest day of the year, which makes it all the more fun that we get to enjoy the wedding all day long. My mascara is waterproof, luckily."

"I am going to need several hankies before the day's over," Jim Bob, Jill's dad said.

Jill and Derick is expecting their first baby this coming March.
