Recent reports are suggesting a "Tom Clancy's The Division" March 2015 release for Xbox One and a later date for PS4 and other platforms.
As Gamepur noted, "according to details just shared by well known industry insider Shinobi602, Tom Clancy's The Division beta will arrive on Xbox One in March 2015."
And while the game will reportedly come to Xbox One first, shinobi602 mentioned that it won't be long before the game will be launched to other platforms.
Meanwhile, previous "Tom Clancy's The Division" release date news have already revealed the RPG's endless gameplay.
"We don't want to do a story that ends and it's like you can take the disc and put it on the shelf," Ubisoft art director Rodrigo Cortes said to IGN.
Game Spot further added that the game will feature progression systems for gear, player stats, and operational base constant upgrade. New content will also be added so that players can enjoy more gaming time.
For fans who are wondering what the gameplay entails, it is said that the game is inspired by real-world events Operation Dark Winter and Directive 51.
As of the moment, New York City -specifically Manhattan and Brooklyn- has been named as the central location of the game. However, some are speculating that there might be other areas added as the release date nears.
Here is the official description of "Tom Clancy's The Division" from Ubisoft:
"The Division agents are trained to operate independently of command, as all else fails. Fighting to prevent the fall of society, the agents will find themselves caught up in an epic conspiracy to combat not only the effects of a manmade virus, but also the rising threat of those behind it."
